Deep Tissue
Deep tissue is a clothing off, oil massage that applies strong and slow pressure to reach deep layers of muscle and fascia. Fascia is the connective tissue that sticks around and in-between muscles, bone, and just about everything in the body. The depth of this modality helps reduce chronic tension and even helps with high blood pressure. Deep tissue uses techniques of stroking, kneading, pulling, and stretching utilizing the fingers, thumbs, palms, fists, and forearms as tools. Deep tissue is great for people experiencing high stress levels or pain from “tight” muscles.
Lymphatic
Lymphatic massage is a gentle modality that works on draining the lymph nodules and nodes in the body. The lymphatic system doesn’t have any contracting parts so the only way lymph gets moved is manually through exercise or massage. Sessions include the use of sweeping motions to encourage the draining of toxins stored in our lymph system. We'll also go over techniques you can practice at home to better learn how to take care of your body's system. Lymphatic massage is great for people who have had surgery in areas that stop the muscles from naturally draining lymph. It is also great for people looking to boost their immune health.

CranioSacral
CranioSacral is a type of alternative body therapy that works with the flow or pulse of the cerebro-spinal fluid. The movement of the fluid is very slow, very gentle, and the bodywork represents this in gentle, encouraging touch. A session is often characterized by slow movements and holds. Light palpating of the spine from the sacrum to the cranium is often used. Gentle holds provide a space of quiet and comfort. I have found that in this space of comfort and safety the body has an easier time allowing breath and relaxation into the area offering time to check in and listen to your body's needs. CranioSacral is great for people who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, high levels of stress, worry or fear, and insomnia. Common experiences in a session are relaxation, tranquil states, dreamlike visions, tingling, warmth or fuzzy sensations, peace and quiet, and euphoria.
Swedish
Swedish is a very common massage modality. It is best known to increase circulation and bring relaxation to the body. Like deep tissue, it is a clothing off, oil massage with the use of long and often circular stroke patterns. Working with the muscles Swedish applies a gentle, nurturing and firm pressure with techniques such as kneading, sweeping, stroking and rubbing with hands, fingers and thumbs, and palms. Swedish is great for people experiencing high stress levels looking for some time to relax their body and mind.

Structural Foot Balancing
Structural Foot Balancing or SFB is a wonderful modality to bring awareness and new life to your feet. We will examine the structure of your foot, which has on average, 26 bones, in an effort to better understand how the muscles act upon the bones. By looking at these muscular tension patterns we will create a mental map of how we hold our feet. We will also take a look at our shoes and our walking stride, which is critical to understanding where we apply pressure and why we use our feet the way we do. Structural foot balancing is a great option for those who have a difficult time with the structure of their feet such as collapsed arches, bunions, hammer toe, plantar fasciitis, ect. It is also good for those who don't have difficulty but just use their feet often and would like some extra care and attention.
Injury Rehab
The energy work I practice is based on the chakra system. Feeling in the auric field and the etheric envelope, sessions hold a healing space to allow energy to move through and around the body. This is done by finding areas of stagnation and working with the chakra to clear and move the energy block. Energy can be pulled or played to find a healthy flow in the body. We will use circular rhythms to discover where there is a need for harmony in the body. By use of color and visualizations, we will cleanse muddy chakras allowing space to redefine your energy body.

Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy
Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy is a new approach to bodywork. I have been blessed with the opportunity to study with and under the founder herself, Patricia Cramer. The VHMT modality comprises a wide breadth of wisdom and knowledge. Using fluid body mechanics and the language of healing, we have the ability to rewrite our stories and open the door to healthier living. No longer do we have to be shaped by our old habits. Habits are stored in the body as holding patterns, a series of muscular contractions that keep us standing. People often become trapped by these patterns and sometimes don’t even recognize they are there. During a session we look at these holding patterns and begin a new conversation with ourselves. This conversation brings opportunity through awareness, giving our bodies the time and space to reassess what we are holding on to, and why. We do this by applying pressure to the body, stimulating the senses and drawing consciousness into the area. Some of the techniques used in VHMT are rocking, kneading, joint mobilization, and sweeping. Each session is tailored to fit your specific needs whether it be emotional, physical, situational or spiritual.
